Pre-Ballet

In Pre-Ballet our students ages 5-7 years old begin to learn class structure while still enjoying their love of dance. Learning body placement, ballet positions and basic choreography instruction are just some of the techniques they are taught in class. During part of their class, they are also taught important strength and flexibility skills with acrobatics.

Class Attire

  • Light blue leotard and ballet skirt.
  • Pink tights
  • Pink ballet shoes (no ties preferred)
  • Hair in slicked back bun with hair net

No jewelry of any kind is allowed in class. (Only small stud earrings are permitted).

Cell Phone Policy

Student’s phone or smart watch should never be in class. All phones should be in their dance bag while taking class and should not be checked when they are on a break. Phones will be put in the office if students are on their phones during any class. These requirements also include any rehearsals for all events.

Dress Code Policy

If students do not adhere to the dress code they will be excused from class to dress accordingly. Students who do not adhere to the dress code weekly will be excused from class participation.

Hair Policy

Hair should always be in a silk back bun, no hair should be hanging down.
